Responsibilities:
- Developing, launching, maintaining, and improving web applications and UI
- Back end coding and contributing to front end development
- Serving as mentor and resource to development team, ensuring project is completed on schedule
- Correcting or improving software engineering practices, as needed
- Some UI design
- Collaborate with team leadership, end users, and various teams to determine appropriate requirements and design
- Ongoing QA testing and support
- Substantial professional web application experience with similar experience in Javascript framework (Java, Spring, Ibatis/Hibernate, Ext JS, JQuery) and firm database programming abilities
- Strong organizational and estimation skills
- Experience and interest in working in a collaborative or communicative environment (internal leadership, external stakeholders, end users)
- Professional Agile/SCRUM and Maven experience preferred
- Experience working on front-end development and with rested web services referred
- M.S. preferred
