Medior Back-End Software Developer

ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Medior Back-End Software Developer, you will be part of the core development team working on in-house projects, both client-facing and for internal use, ensuring high-quality deliverables across all of them. You can expect to work on: AI-driven solutions; Data infrastructure & enrichment; Process automation and Scalability & integrations among other tasks. The ideal candidate will feel confident to independently complete assigned tasks and suggest process improvements and solutions.
As a Medior Back-End Software Developer you will work with our development team located in Novi Sad.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Software Design & Development: Design and develop high-quality software solutions based on provided specifications, ensuring they meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across various projects.
System Maintenance: Take part in maintaining current systems, performing necessary updates and ensuring the system remains functional and reliable.
Database Architecture: Build and optimize database architecture to support application needs, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and performance.
Code Reviews: Participate in regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
Collaboration with DevOps: Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure system availability, performance, and security, addressing any infrastructure or deployment challenges that may arise.
Test Writing: Develop and execute tests to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of applications, maintaining high standards of software reliability.
Technical Documentation: Write and maintain detailed technical documentation, ensuring code, architecture, and processes are clearly explained for future reference and team collaboration.

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ year’s experience in PHP and MySql, with experience in at least one of the modern PHP frameworks
• Bachelor's degree
• Solid understanding of Software Architecture and Design patterns
• Understanding of SOLID principles
• Understanding of the ACID model
• Solid knowledge of REST API architecture
• Experience with TDD and Unit Testing
• Experience with Git/Git flow
• Experience with Linux
• Outstanding communication skills and strong attention to details
• Fluent English is required; verbal & written
• A desire to work proactively, enthusiastically, and independently
• Nice to have: experience with search engines (ELK stack); LLM; GCP; Salesforce development
  (Apex, SOQL, Visualforce); and/or Docker and Kubernetes
