About the Role :
As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling core product features. You will take ownership of modules end-to-end and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.
You will also mentor engineers and contribute to improving engineering practices across the team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance software systems.
- Own modules end-to-end including design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to build impactful product features.
- Write high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Drive performance improvements and system stability.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies and tools.
- 3–6 years of experience in software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong experience in Java/J2EE technologies.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience building scalable and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres).
- Experience with MongoDB, Web Services, and microservices architecture.
- Experience working in product-based companies, internet companies, or startups is preferred.
- Experience in e-commerce or travel domain is a plus.
Skills Required :
- Strong understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture.
- Experience with performance optimization and debugging tools.
- Good knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and memory management.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
