James and James is looking for a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Heber Springs, Arkansas. This role is responsible for operating CNC woodworking machinery to cut, drill, and shape components used in high-quality custom furniture. - Set up and operate CNC machines
- Program and adjust CNC machines for drilling, cutting, milling, and shaping wood components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
- Adjust machine settings to improve production efficiency while maintaining quality
- Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance
- Document production activity and update records as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area What We're Looking For:
- Experience operating CNC machinery in a woodworking or manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming or CAD/CAM systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1–2 years CNC machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
