About the role

Will you help drive our (international) search for talent? Based at our centralized HR department in Aalst, Belgium, as a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will join a passionate team of recruiters and serve as a key link in driving our organization’s continued growth.

What you’ll do

From active talent sourcing and the end-to-end management of prospective colleagues, to initiating and contributing to various HR projects, as well as building sustainable partnerships with both HR Business Partners and internal business stakeholders.

A challenging and engaging role with the following key responsibilities:

• You take complete ownership of the recruitment lifecycle for your business unit. Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to attract and select the right talent at the right time.
• You act as a strong networker who connects easily with others and thinks outside the box. Use a creative mindset, commercial flair, and infectious enthusiasm to reach, engage, and convert scarce technical candidates.
• As brand ambassador you represent Jan De Nul at domestic and international job fairs and recruitment events. You actively enhance our employer brand and spark interest among national and international talent for a career within our organization.
• You organize company visits, campus recruitment activities, and other initiatives to introduce students and young professionals to Jan De Nul in an authentic and engaging way.
• Furthermore, you contribute to impactful HR projects focused on talent attraction, candidate experience optimization, and employer branding, continuously strengthening our recruitment strategy.
• You serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to business leaders and the broader HR team. You build lasting relationships grounded in clear communication, structured competency-based assessments, and high quality standards.

Who are we searching for?

You possess a passion for talent attraction and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. You have a master's degree accompanied by (a first) relevant experience in HR-recruitment and talent acquisition, preferably involving hard-to-fill technical profiles. You are a natural networker and strong communicator across all organizational levels. You combine a creative, proactive mindset with a quality-oriented approach. You demonstrate a solution-oriented approach with a proven ability to deliver effective solutions under tight deadlines and high pressure.

You are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is considered an asset.
