Responsibilities: Essential Duties

• Processing cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately using the POS system
• Promoting car wash packages, upgrades, and memberships to enhance sales
• Greeting customers warmly and assisting with inquiries to ensure a positive experience
• Maintaining a clean and organized cashier station and storefront area
• Following company policies for cash handling, refunds, and security procedures
• Collaborating with team members to support smooth daily operations
• Assisting with tracking performance metrics and suggesting operational improvements
• Leading by example through proactive customer service and problem-solving
• Taking on additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications: Job Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 21 years old to comply with regulations regarding the sale of lottery and nicotine products in the Jilly's Market.
• Prior experience in customer service, retail, or a labor-intensive role preferred
• High school diploma, equivalent certificate, or current enrollment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-first approach.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and 50 lbs. occasionally
• Compliance with all safety protocols and uniform requirements
