Senior Category Manager – Mobile Communications

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end category management process within the telecommunications product assortment and mobile tariff (postpaid, prepaid, bundles, etc.)
• Support the category leader develop and nurture strategic partnership with national and local supply partners.
• Analyse key metrics and range gaps to derive strategies on how to improve supplier and category performance.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Assist on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.
• Develop long-term category strategies which are fit for the local market to ensure customer acquisition and retention as well as growth in key category KPIs.
• Cross departmental engagement with supply chain, app development and marketing to deliver a best-in-class service to our customers.

Qualifications

• Procurement, Merchandising or buying experience within 3C, specifically related to telecommunications is ideal.
• Understanding of consumers, with market insights and purchasing expertise.
• Exceptional analytical abilities, data sensitivity, and logical thinking.
• Effective communicator with a passion for continuous learning.
• Highly driven, innovative, team-oriented, and committed to aligning personal contributions with organisational goals.
• German fluency is preferred
