Maintenance Technician - 100% FULL BENEFITS PAID

J.D. Streett & Company, Inc. is a family-owned, local lubricants manufacturer  and is seeking a full-time Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.  Candidate must be a highly skilled technician that will work out of our oil blending and packaging facility.  Position will be responsible for installing, repairing, and monitoring industrial processing and production machinery.  This is a mid-level position with exposure to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery.

· Set up packaging machinery.

· Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.

· Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics.

· Source replacement parts and perform repairs.

· Safely operate power tools, hoists, and hand tools.

· Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers, and specifications.

· Maintain parts and tools inventory.

· Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops, and technical reading.

Requirements:

· High School Diploma or GED.  Advanced technical or college training is preferred.

· 2 years minimum of industrial maintenance experience.

· Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.

· Basic understanding of electrical systems.

· Comfortable with computers.

· Capable of operating hand, power, and specialized tools.

· Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Team player and ability to work with minimal supervision.

· Excellent problem solving and communication skills.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Excellent safety record.

· Must have reliable transportation and good attendance.

Hourly Wage Based Upon Experience & Certifications $21.00 - $31.00+/hr

Normal Work Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00AM – 3:30PM
