  Responsibilities and

Duties:

- Interacting and connecting with children, families, and J Los Angeles partners in ways that support strong relationships, respect, and collaboration.
- Working in a team to maintain a healthy, safe, and engaging classroom environment, develop curriculum and care for a group of 12-18 preschoolers.
- Supporting a rich play-based curriculum based in Judaic values and traditions and a strong view of children as learners and thinkers.
- Approaching conflicts as opportunities to learn and coaching children to be problem solvers.
Minimum

Qualifications:

- A minimum of 12 ECE units
- At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a school or center setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work collaboratively and problem solve
- Ability to be self-directed, manage time and complete projects
- Open to learning, ability to self-reflect regularly
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position (i.e., care for active young children, repetitive bending and lifting)
- Current pediatric CPR/First Aid certification (Must be willing to obtain)
Salary: $35,000$45,000
