    Job description

    Essential Job Functions:

    · Maintains comprehensive and current knowledge of Club activities, programs, and services generated in all departments.  Interviews, researches, and gathers information to devise communication plans and to design, create, and deliver content to internal audiences.

    · Develops graphic and written content for use in print, electronic and web formats. Writes and designs content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, website copy, brochures and internal press releases.

    · Manages the life cycle of integrated communication plans and projects from inception to implementation to create timely, accurate and complete publications and communications across media platforms.

    · Assists with the design and creation of member communications for special events via posters, holiday books, invitations, digital brochures and other promotional materials.

    · Writes feature style pieces to generate interest and engagement.

    · Reviews/proofs/edits Club website and other communications for errors, exclusions and updates to maintain accurate and timely information to Club membership.

    · Prepares a variety of correspondence, monthly committee reports, newsletters, mailings, other documents. 

    · Sends and distributes other targeted communications to the membership from the various departments.

    · Assist with the maintenance of the social media outlets i.e.: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.

    · Maintains digital advertising/promotional boards.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or similar, or equivalent experience. 

    · Strong detail and organizational skills, professional and creative writing ability, and design and creative skillset required, as typically demonstrated by 2+ years of experience   in a communications or marketing role.

    · Advanced PC/Mac computer skills, with strong knowledge of word processing, & spreadsheet programs, HTML language, web design, intranet design, knowledge of Adobe   Creative Suite required.

    · Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

    · Strong clerical skills, including min 40 wpm typing with accuracy; skill & knowledge of English grammar & composition, letter formatting, editing, proofreading.

    · Working knowledge & understanding of professional office environment & procedures.

    · Outstanding interpersonal skills with demonstrated tact, courtesy & diplomacy.  Must exercise excellent judgment & discretion with respect to handling of confidential              information & communications.
