Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Leads, Supervisors and/or Managers, Kitting & Assembly General Workers perform all activities to assemble a finished product, ensuring the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost, meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Shift Hours: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
Job Description:
Demonstrate proficiency in all Kitting & Assembly level duties and responsibilities. Assist Line Leads to supervise Kitting & Assembly lines in flow and work assignments. Assist Line Leads to keep lines moving as efficiently as possible without jeopardizing quality. Aid Line Leads to ensure accuracy and proficiency on their Kitting line. Perform line audits. Safely operate a forklift to move materials, finished goods, and inventory throughout the facility.
Report to Supervisor if issues occur regarding temporary workers or other employees Contact Supervisor/Leads regarding issues with Kits. Assist the Kitting line to ensure finished Kits are created on time. Respect and cooperate with individuals and assist others in reaching objectives. Follow all safety rules/regulations, company procedures and policies. Implement work assignments within the most cost effectiveness and manufacturing efficiencies.
Make recommendations that best fit our process requirements. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas. Continually strive to learn and improve all processes. Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None
