About Jorie AI & The Role Jorie AI builds AI-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) and automation solutions. We are seeking a Senior Epic RCM Solutions Architect to serve as the technical bridge between our products and clients' Epic environments. You will leverage your deep Epic RCM expertise to determine optimal integration approaches (APIs, FHIR, interfaces, RPA) and guide our Engineering teams toward scalable, reliable implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture & Design: Design scalable solutions connecting Jorie’s AI/RCM capabilities with client Epic environments. Evaluate and recommend appropriate integration approaches (APIs, HL7, FHIR, RPA, batch).
- Technical Discovery: Lead Epic technical discovery for new clients, assessing workflows, modules, governance, and technical dependencies. Provide clear recommendations on feasibility and alternative approaches.
- Product & Engineering Partnership: Translate operational Epic workflows into clear technical requirements. Help distinguish between client-specific needs and reusable Jorie platform components.
- Operational Impact & Implementation: Anticipate downstream impacts on operational users (registration, billing, coding). Support solutions from discovery through testing, go-live, stabilization, and troubleshooting.
- Standards & Reusability: Develop reusable documentation, decision frameworks, and playbooks for common RCM use cases and Epic integration patterns.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Epic experience in a healthcare or tech environment with deep exposure to RCM workflows.
- Deep expertise in Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) and/or Professional Billing (PB).
- Strong understanding of upstream/downstream workflows (registration, scheduling, coding, claims, denials).
- Experience with Epic integrations (HL7, APIs/FHIR, Bridges, Interconnect).
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead technical discovery and translate operational requirements into technical designs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Epic certification(s) in Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Bridges, Interconnect, Prelude, or Cadence.
- Experience with healthcare AI, RPA, FHIR, and interoperability standards (HL7v2, X12).
- Familiarity with other EHR platforms (Oracle Health/Cerner, MEDITECH, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks).
- Experience across multiple Epic client environments or Community Connect implementations.
What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months
- Establish a reusable Epic RCM integration decision framework and inventory of integration patterns.
- Lead technical discovery for prospective/active Epic clients, identifying risks and dependencies.
- Successfully architect at least one Jorie-to-Epic client solution through production implementation.
- Become the trusted internal expert for navigating client Epic environments and integration strategies.
