INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Welding Supervisor and Welding Lead. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities. ROBOT WELDER: Performs duties associated with all areas of robotic welding parts for production. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to: a) Weld parts to schedule and Work Instruction (WI) specifications. b) Verify with Quality 1st piece inspection. c) Hammer-stamp on all products produced. d) Count and label products correctly. e) Preventative maintenance and housekeeping duties of welding area as required and assigned. f) Meet or exceed efficiency rates. g) Meet quality welding standards. h) Removal of non-conforming material at the end of the shift. i) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
