    Software Developer - Power Inverters

    This is your chance.

    With over 30 years of experience in the development of software & digital products, Jungheinrich offers a broad portfolio and comprehensive expertise in the areas of warehouse, fleet, device, process, and interface management. We are looking for a motivated and skilled Development Engineer in Electrical Engineering to join our global power electronics development team. You will contribute to the design and evolution of traction charging systems and powertrain solutions, supporting projects across new development and serial support.

    Set things in motion.

    • Design and implementation of complex control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink for all types of electrical machines (e.g. asynchronous, synchronous and reluctant machines)
    • Simulation, analysis and optimization of control strategies in a virtual environment
    • Use of Embedded Coder or Simulink Coder to convert graphical models into efficient C/C++ code for electronic control units (ECUs), mainly for power inverters
    • Development of software applications in C/C++, considering real time constraints and functional safety requirements
    • Support software integration, testing, commissioning, and series production ramp-up
    • Collaborate closely with development teams at international sites

    Use your skills.

    • Several years of experience in creation and simulation of control algorithms for electrical machines with MATLAB/Simulink
    • Strong experience with embedded C/C++ in real time systems and in working with microcontrollers (e.g. Infineon AURIX or NXP)
    • Knowledge of development in AUTOSAR/MICROSAR desirable
    • Experience in development within safety relevant environments according to applicable standards
    • Good understanding of the interaction between mechanics, hydraulics, power electronics and software
    • Completed university degree in control engineering, automation technology, software engineering or comparable
    • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of German is an advantage but not mandatory
