Network Administrator Personnel

Position Summary

K2 Solutions is seeking an experienced Network Administrator to support enterprise network infrastructure within a Department of Defense environment. This position is responsible for configuring, securing, monitoring, and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and network services supporting mission-critical operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Cisco network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and availability.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
• Configure firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Maintain network security controls.
• Support network upgrades and modernization efforts.
• Implement network configuration changes.
• Maintain network documentation.
• Assist with cybersecurity initiatives.
• Perform network diagnostics and performance tuning.
• Support disaster recovery planning.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent military training.
• Current Security+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent DCWF certification.
• Three years of DoD network administration experience.
• Experience configuring Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting VPN technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP Certification.
• Palo Alto or Fortinet experience.
• Experience supporting Army tactical networks.
• SolarWinds or enterprise monitoring experience.
