The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic sonographic examinations to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role ensures safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging while providing patient-centered care and collaborating with the healthcare team.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Required:
Current Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential OR eligibility with requirement to obtain within one year of hire.
Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent education and training.
Ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism and patient confidentiality.
Strong technical, organizational, and patient care skills.
Preferred:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Experience in diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands for equipment operation.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.
Pushing and pulling up to 200 lbs.; lifting up to 100 lbs.; carrying up to 50 lbs.
Occasional pushing and pulling of equipment or stretchers.
Requires attention to detail and ability to respond to urgent situations.
Potential exposure to infectious diseases, biohazards, and varying noise levels.
