About the Opportunity
Kelley Kronenberg’s Workers’ Compensation Defense team is looking to add an Associate Attorney. This is a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in Florida. We’re looking for a thorough, detail-driven litigator with excellent writing skills and a genuine interest in defense practice.
Your Responsibilities
- Independently handle a caseload of Workers’ Compensation defense matters from initial assignment through resolution.
- Review claims files and medical records closely, with careful attention to detail.
- Draft status reports, pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Appear at hearings on behalf of clients and handle all aspects of motion practice.
- Keep clients and adjusters informed through consistent, professional communication.
- Work closely with the Managing Partner on litigation strategy and case development.
Required Education & Experience
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active Florida Bar license required.
- At least 3 years of experience practicing as an attorney; Workers’ Compensation defense experience is a plus.
- Excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote setting.
