    About the job: 

    Kent is looking for an IT Support Assistant, to support ongoing projects.

    Skills and Responsibilities: 

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform user support, resource and inventory management and backup copies of the information generated by the Company and its projects, within the framework of the methods and procedures established by the organization, to maintain the optimal operation of equipment and technology services and preserve the Company's information.
    • Manage the support requirements of users, according to standards required by the Technology area and the Company, and in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, in order to respond to the needs of users and maintain its operation.
    • To make a complete, timely and reliable record of each movement or novelty of users, equipment, information systems and documents of the area.
    • In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.

    Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: 

    Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: 

    • Systems Engineering student, systems technician or technologist with at least 1 year of experience in hardware and software support and maintenance.
    • Minimum 1 year experience in hardware and software support and maintenance.
    • Knowledge in installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting, Access database management and network troubleshooting

    Communication:

    • Desirable command of the Spanish – English (desirable) language in both oral and written communication and skills.

    Behavior/ Core Competencies:

    • Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, upgrades and troubleshooting, Access database management and network troubleshooting

    HSSEQ:

    The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country.
