Experienced CDL B driver that provides recycling collection services to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe manner, obeying all traffic laws and company policies.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, as a representative of Seadrunar.
- Ensure accuracy of all documentation for all prepared loads.
- Load and unload truck on a daily basis and ensure safe organization of supplies.
- Complete pre and post trip inspection and documentation of vehicle condition daily.
- Report mechanical problems to the attention of the Route Manager and/or Maintenance Manager.
- Maintain daily route sheets and route boxes according to company standards and state and federal regulations.
- Perform emergency minor roadside repairs such as installing light bulbs, tire chains.
- Attend meetings, workshops, etc. as designated by the Route Manager.
- Advise work therapy clients of safety protocols and professional standards of conduct, if applicable
- Perform work on weekends and evenings as needed to meet applicable deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
