Business Analyst

What are we looking for? 

VBA is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Analyst responsible for providing support, training, and direct help to all of our clients.  You will act as a subject matter expert for VBA products and serve as a mentor and role model to other team members.  The Business Analyst is also responsible for supporting the development and data team with product enhancements and custom report development.  The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of both the technical and business views of the software development process, coupled with the ability to explain complex concepts in a straight-forward manner.  This role will require someone with a healthcare industry background.

• 5 years of experience in similar role
• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Highly organized with good time management skills
• Ability to work with a variety of colleagues and clients
• Work well in a team environment
• Assist in software demonstrations and trainings

What do we consider a plus? 

• Experience in the Healthcare space
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
• Confidence, tact and a persuasive manner
• Knowledge of SQL

What will you be doing?

• Build strong personal relationship with key associates of our executive clients
• Review, analyze and evaluate report and change requests and facilitate testing cycles
• Customize training documents to fit client specific needs
• Act as a liaison between the client and internal teams
• Support Development Staff by providing software testing, quality assurance, documentation and functional support
• Provide internal support as needed
