Warehouse Associate

Kidwell is seeking highly-motivated individuals who possess the qualities of positivity, honesty, and attention to detail to fill the role of Warehouse Assistant.  Candidates need great organizational skills and must be quality communicators. We want any employee or vendor that steps into our warehouse to see a highly organized facility.

 Our Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for working with the Warehouse Team to effectively manage materials, tools, and machinery that enter and exit the warehouse.  In addition, this position will work closely with the purchasing manager and other warehouse staff to make sure all material is received, processed, and delivered to the appropriate employee or job site.

What You’ll Do: 

Must be able to perform the following tasks and duties on a daily basis: 

• Coordinate with Warehouse Supervisor, Purchasing Manager, and Kidwell field employees to ensure timely material deliveries to job sites and other departments. 
• Assist in the continued organization and improvement of the company warehouse. 
• Help with receiving operations, including verifying material quantities and checking for damaged goods, as well as routing and preparing materials for delivery to job sites

• Undertake cleaning and janitorial duties throughout the Kidwell warehouse and office buildings.

• Perform vehicle and building maintenance, including minor repairs and other assigned tasks.

Do you have what it takes?

• Must be able to work between the hours of  7am and 5pm 
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs 
• Experience with computer programs
• Strong attention to detail 
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check 
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Preferred (but not required): Experience driving larger vehicles, such as a cube truck, and skills in loading, securing, and pulling trailers

Education and/or Experience: 

• Previous experience operating a pallet jack and operating a forklift preferred
