Planning Intern

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Planning students to join our Charlotte, North Carolina (NC) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Support production of transit, mobility, and bicycle and pedestrian plans.
• Support public engagement efforts.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate transportation data.
• Create maps and prepare spatial analyses in ArcGIS Pro.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Coordinate with various municipal and state agencies.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving a Planning Degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in of the following majors:
  • City and Regional Planning
  • Urban Planning
  • Transportation Planning
  • Or Other Related Major
