Qualification Execution Engineer - 2271

As a Customer Qualification Engineer II, your primary role is to provide support for customer qualifications on our datacenter SSD products. During the product qualification phase, you will provide support on test execution, failure analysis, and status reporting. This includes ensuring all hardware and software components of the qualification are in place and ready for execution, reporting on execution and issue status, and participating in update meetings.

Responsibilities: 

• Install and configure qualification infrastructure for testing
• Drive execution of customer qualifications according to schedule
• Work with the respective Product Support Engineer to ensure alignment of tasks
• Perform initial failure triage on any issues found during qualifications
• Use defect ticket tracking systems to provide responsive support for debug tasks
• Drive issues to resolution through iterative testing and analysis

• BS degree in engineering or equivalent of minimum of 2+ years hands-on experience with SSDs and/or platform hardware testing
• Strong understanding of computer system architecture fundamentals
• Platform-level troubleshooting skills to include run/break/fix capabilities and issue isolation
• Experience triaging issues in Windows and/or Linux server operating systems
• Experience developing Python/PowerShell/Bash scripts
• Familiar with data manipulation/analysis (spreadsheets or more advanced tools)
• Good technical communication skills providing detail in complex scenarios

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PCIe/NVMe protocols, including analyzer and power measurement tools
• Experience with SSD performance measurement tools and methodologies
• Experience with SSD test system usage

The expected salary for this position is $85,820.00 - $143,030.00.
