Description of the Role:
Our Intermodal business unit is hiring a Business Development Manager as part of our succession planning. The successful candidate will compliment and contribute to the existing strengths of a dynamic high performing team, own a track record of achievement, and bring energy and ideas to assist with our ongoing growth and success.
Reporting directly to the Vice President, Intermodal, the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, meeting with prospective and existing customers, and negotiating and securing new business. This role also focuses on maintaining and strengthening customer relationships to support long-term growth and service excellence. In addition, the Business Development Manager prepares internal reports and conducts equipment and load analysis to support the operational and strategic objectives of the Intermodal Business Unit.
