KLS Earthworks & Environmental is looking for hardworking and reliable Construction Laborers to join our field crews in Calgary and surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do
- Assist operators, supervisors, and other crew members with daily site activities.
- Dig ditches and trenches and assist with backfilling, compacting, and leveling earth.
- Use hand tools including shovels, rakes, picks, and other construction tools.
- Assist with site preparation, grading, cleanup, and general labour duties.
- Work safely around heavy equipment, trucks, excavations, and active construction areas.
- Assist with spotting equipment and traffic control/flagging when required.
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and supplies.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Follow site-specific safety procedures and direction from supervisors.
- Assist with other duties as required to support the crew and project.
Qualifications
- Previous construction or earthworks experience is an asset.
- Physically capable of performing demanding work, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
- Ability to safely work around heavy equipment and active construction operations.
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- First Aid and H2S certifications are considered assets.
- Flagging/traffic control experience is an asset.
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime during the busy construction season.
- Must successfully complete required pre-employment testing.
