    Job description

    Industrial Designer II

    Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Onsite, four days per week – Bristol, PA

    Opportunity

At KALLISTA, we bring artistry and innovation to the most personal spaces in the home. With over 40 years of expertise, our luxury kitchen and bath designs are crafted with premium materials and a commitment to timeless beauty, offering thoughtfully designed solutions that transform everyday rituals into inspired experiences.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in developing cutting-edge concepts, products, experiences, and human interfaces — collaborating closely with the New Product Development and Industrial Design teams to shape the future of luxury living. If you value creativity and innovation, this role offers the chance to make meaningful contributions. Be part of our journey to create something exceptional.

    How you’ll contribute:

    • Present your design proficiency: Generate diverse and innovative ideas to inspire impactful product development. Lead concept ideation and drive new product initiatives through multiple design iterations and thoughtful refinement.
    • Demonstrate your expertise in visualization: Utilize advanced rendering and modeling techniques to bring projects to life with accuracy and excitement, while continuously exploring and applying innovative presentation methods and model-making.
    • Track luxury market trends and drive innovation: Monitor evolving consumer behaviors, competitor offerings, and global design movements within the luxury space. Leverage deep understanding of luxury brand aesthetics and customer preferences to inform and inspire forward-thinking, elevated design solutions.
    • Drive success through collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams —including Engineering, Marketing, Purchasing, and Manufacturing — to align on business goals, solve challenges collaboratively, and integrate feedback that advances projects effectively.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct user-centered research to understand consumer needs and design opportunities within bathroom environments.
    • Generate innovative design concepts through sketching, rendering, and 3D modeling (digital and/or physical).
    • Lead design projects from concept through final implementation, ensuring creative vision and functional goals are met.
    • Ensure exceptional design quality and attention to detail in every aspect of the product.
    • Build deep knowledge across product categories including medicine cabinets, mirrors, bathroom furniture, and lighting.
    • Present design concepts clearly and persuasively to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
    • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Purchasing to ensure design intent is maintained throughout development.
    • Contribute as a design leader within the New Product Development team, influencing multiple initiatives.
    • Support the daily operations of the Industrial Design team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

    Skills/Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from an accredited institution.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial design.
    • Strong aptitude for working with various design materials, mechanical principles, and diverse style aesthetics (traditional, transitional, and modern/contemporary).
    • Minimum of two years of experience using SolidWorks or Fusion360.
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
    • Demonstrated expertise in rendering, with strong experience using KeyShot or V-Ray to produce high-quality, photorealistic visualizations that effectively communicate design intent
    • A well-rounded portfolio showcasing design process, conceptual thinking, and CAD skills
