Pilates Instructor, Sports Core 

Work Mode: Onsite

Location: Kohler, WI

This is a Casual position with schedules available weekdays and weekends varying between 5:00 am and 7:00 pm CST.

Opportunity

Do you have a passion for fitness? Does the thought of instructing and assisting facility users with fitness equipment, and promoting lifestyle programs appeal to you? If so, then join the team at the Sports Core as a Pilates Instructor, where your hard work and customer service skills will be appreciated and recognized!
Specific responsibilities include:

• Promoting and performing lifestyle programs, assessments and personal training services according to Sports Core standards
  
• Performing fitness services with minimal direction - Includes body fat testing, girth measurements, weight, cardiovascular step test, sit/reach flexibility testing and strength testing
  
• Promoting, designing and performing long-term personal training programs according to the needs and goals of healthy, average adults
  
• Effectively demonstrating and assisting facility users with fitness equipment in all fitness and training areas according to quality standards
  
• Maintaining accurate member and personal client records according to standard operating procedures
  
• Assisting with set-up, cleaning and preventative maintenance for all fitness related equipment; weight benches, racks and equipment, spinning bikes and any pool needs

Skills/Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply.
  
• Minimum of 200 hours PMA with Pilates Method Alliance Previous Pilates instructor experience highly preferred.
  
• CPR certification required; first-aid certification preferred.
• Pilates Reformer Certification required.
• ACE, AFFA, ACSM, or comparable national certifications may be required, as well as an Advanced Pilates Certification (if not PMA-certified), to be obtained during employment.
