    Spa Attendant Coordinator, Kohler Waters Spa 

    Work Mode: Onsite

    Location: Kohler, WI

    Opportunity

    Under the direction of the Spa Assistant Manager, the Spa Attendant Coordinator is responsible for the daily leadership and operations of the Spa Attendant team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, Forbes Five-Star service standards, and a pristine facility environment. This role oversees hiring, onboarding, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and accountability of Spa Attendants while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest amenities. In partnership with the Front Deak Coordinator, this role develops and supports associates through clear communication, feedback, and professional development.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensure personal and team compliance with Forbes Five-Star standards, Kohler Hospitality policies, departmental SOPs, and workplace procedures, including safety, grooming, attendance, guest and associate privacy, and professional conduct.
    • Maintain, review, and update departmental SOPs, policies, and operational procedures in a timely manner to support consistency and service excellence.
    • Own all Spa Attendant recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, and scheduling processes to ensure appropriate staffing levels and a successful associate experience.
    • Supervise and lead Spa Attendant associates by providing ongoing coaching, accountability, recognition, feedback, and retraining as necessary to uphold Forbes Five-
    • Star service standards.
    • Manage payroll accuracy and compliance, including timecard review, attendance tracking, and follow-up on payroll discrepancies.
    • Lead daily huddles, facilitate monthly team meetings, and ensure effective communication between Spa Attendants, Guest Services, providers, and Spa Leadership.
    • Assist in maintaining a pristine facility environment by ensuring exceptional cleanliness, organization, presentation, and functionality throughout all guest-facing and operational spaces.

    Ensure the highest standards of facility operations through:

    1. Replenishment and presentation of guest amenities.
    2. Oversight of furniture condition, arrangement, and functionality.
    3. Organization and management of guest belongings.
    4. Enforcement of spa technology, relaxation, and noise policies.
    5. Completion and follow-up of operational checklists.
    6. Submission and tracking facility work orders through completion.
    7. Identification and reporting of safety concerns and facility deficiencies.
    • Hold associates accountable for adhering to departmental expectations, performance standards, attendance requirements, and guest service philosophies.
    • Support departmental budget management through operational reporting, documentation, inventory oversight, and tracking key departmental metrics.
    • Conduct mid-year and annual performance reviews and support associate development through coaching conversations and performance improvement initiatives.
    • Review associate engagement feedback, including Glint survey results, and develop action plans that support a positive, engaged, and high-performing team culture.
    • Oversee laundry operations, including inventory management, delivery schedules, quality control, storage, organization, and display standards.
    • Ensure personal and team adherence to all spa guest policies, including guest privacy, age requirements, behavior expectations, technology usage, noise management, and lost-and-found procedures.
    • Maintain cross-training proficiency within Guest Services operations and provide support as needed to meet operational and guest service demands.
    • Serve as an active member of the Spa Operations Leadership Team by participating in management meetings, trainings, educational opportunities, serving as Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned, and supporting special projects and other duties as needed.

    This is a full-time position, working weekdays & weekends. Shifts vary between 6:00 am - 9:30 pm.

    Skills/Requirements

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous customer service experience required.
    • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    The hourly range for this position is $15.90 - $23.80 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
