Ultrasound Technologist

Temporary PRN—As needed

Join our Radiology team as an Ultrasound Technologist, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and compassionate patient care. This position supports our physicians, patients, and department operations while upholding the mission and values of Kossuth Regional Health Center.

What You’ll Do

· Perform ultrasound and other radiologic procedures as ordered by physicians

· Provide safe, professional, and compassionate patient care

· Communicate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality exams

· Manage and maintain imaging and information systems (PACS, HIS, RIS)

· Assist with scheduling, phone coverage, documentation, & departmental support tasks

· Support students and participate in quality improvement, Lean initiatives, & training

· Maintain patient confidentiality, safety standards, & a clean, organized work environment

· Respond to emergencies & support department & hospital operations as needed

What We’re Looking For:

· Graduate of an AMA-Approved Radiologic Technology Program

· Current ARRT registration and Iowa permits required

· ARDMS certification (abdomen, OB, vascular, breast) or actively pursuing

· Strong computer, communication, organization, and time-management skills

· High level of accuracy, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail

· Commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and service excellence
