Junior School Physical Education Teacher

Kristin School is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school on Auckland’s North Shore. It provides education for more than 1800 students from Early Learning to Year 13, with dual pathways through NCEA and the International

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Physical Education Teacher to join our incredibly supportive Junior School (Year 0-6) team on a fixed-term, part-time basis (0.5 FTE) for two years, commencing January 2027. Kristin operates a 7-day timetable, so you need to be able to work part-time hours across Monday to Friday.

This role requires:

• NZ Registered Teacher who is available from January 2027
• Ability to build strong relationships with students and parents
• A commitment to support our co-curricular programme
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team
• Enthusiasm for technology (we are a recognised Apple Distinguished School)
• A great sense of humour.

IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) prior experience is not required, with successful candidates provided with professional development, including attending training outside of school hours.
