AI - Video Editor (Microdrama Vertical)

About the Role :

We’re looking for an AI Video Editor who thinks like a storyteller and can turn ideas, videos, and scripts into compelling videos. You’ll work on fast-paced, mobile-first micro-dramas across both live-action and AI-generated video, using editing and AI to shape everything from the visual language to the final storytelling experience.
We’re looking for someone who sees editing and AI as powerful creative mediums for visual storytelling. You should be enthusiastic about AI and AI video generation, curious about new tools and workflows, and capable of turning creative ideas into reality through the combination of AI, editing, and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities :

• Edit live-action & AI-generated micro-dramas for 9:16 mobile format

• Build hooks, emotional peaks, twists, and cliffhangers

• Maintain pacing, continuity (character, costume, lighting, eyeline), and visual rhythm

• Fix AI-video issues: lip-sync errors, flickering, warping, facial inconsistencies

• Handle AI post-production: cleanup, upscaling, interpolation, shot extension, compositing

• Color-match and blend live-action with AI-generated footage

• Create titles, captions, motion graphics, recaps, and end cards

• Edit sound: dialogue balance, music, Foley, ambience

• Collaborate with directors, writers, AI artists, and sound designers

• Maintain organized files, proxies, and version controlQC and export per platform specs.
  

What We are Looking For :

• 2–5 years editing experience (fiction, micro-dramas, web series, TV, or ads)

• Strong portfolio showing cinematic storytelling and technical polish

• Advanced Premiere Pro & After Effects (compositing, masking, tracking)

• Working proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (color, grading, finishing)

• Understanding of retention principles: hooks, pacing, cliffhangers

• Experience with AI-generated footage and error identification

• Fluent Hindi, working proficiency in English

Preferred :

• Micro-drama / vertical drama / episodic fiction experience

• High-volume production pipeline experience

• Generative AI video/image/lip-sync tool proficiency
