Maintenance Worker HVAC - Full Time

Essential Functions

• Responds to resident request for HVAC malfunctions. Repairs all HVAC problems in a timely manner.
• Checks freon levels, repair leaks and charge to appropriate levels.
• Inspects condenser units for all electrical controls, fans, and compressors for proper operation. Repair and replace as necessary. Clean units when necessary.
• Inspects evaporator units for proper operation, all parts functioning properly.
• Handles emergencies immediately and appropriately.
• Performs other maintenance duties as assigned by Lead, Supervisor or Director.
• Renovates and maintains all apartment and common area HVAC equipment.
• Maintains all required records and information pertinent to work assignments, including EPA regulated information.
• Keeps work areas, carts, tools and equipment orderly, clean and safe.
• Works safely and participates in all training programs, as assigned.
• Attend all mandatory meetings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: • Have 2 years of related experience and possess basic mechanical skills/aptitude and ability to use basic tools or other applicable experience as deemed appropriate by Human Resources.

Certifications & Licenses: • Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a current Arizona Driving License
• Must have or be able to obtain upon hire a CPR/AED, First Aid Certification,
