Settling In- Per Diem

Position Summary

To help create a stress-free transition by settling in and personalizing the resident into their new home.

Essential Functions

• Polite and respectful to residents.
• Unpack boxes.
• Communicate with residents regarding placement of their belongings, dishes, clothing, linens, etc.
• Make helpful suggestions when asked regarding placement of belongings and/or furniture.
• Clean and dust furniture as needed and time permits.
• Clean mirrors and glass as needed and time permits.
• Show resident their storage area and parking space when asked and necessary.
• Place work orders when needed.
• Answer any questions and/or direct to the contact person when asked.
• Dispose of all boxes, paper and trash at the end of the move.
• Report resident total working hours on worksheet for monthly billing
• Participates in additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor, aligned with qualifications and can be reasonably expected to be completed with minimal orientation.

Work Environment

Work will take place both indoors and outdoors. Indoors will typically be in a climate-controlled environment. Outdoors may involve exposure to weather elements including sunshine, cold, wind, and rain.
