Position Summary
This role supports the day-to-day operations of the retail store, helping deliver an exceptional customer experience while ensuring merchandise, inventory, and operational processes are executed accurately and efficiently. This role partners closely with Sales Associates and store leadership to support customer needs, process transactions and orders, maintain inventory accuracy, and uphold LAGOS visual and brand standards. This role helps create a welcoming and organized environment while contributing to overall store productivity and efficiency.
Essential Functions
- Customer Service and Support
- Welcome customers and direct them to the appropriate Sales Associate for assistance.
- Provide friendly, responsive service during busy periods by engaging with customers and addressing their needs and questions.
- Partner with Sales Associates to communicate inventory availability, retrieve merchandise for customers, and support special requests.
- Accurately process sales, returns, and exchanges using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with online order fulfillment, including picking, packing, and shipping items for customer pickup or delivery.
Inventory and Merchandise Management
- Receive deliveries, unload stock, and process merchandise in the back room.
- Replenish merchandise from storage to the sales floor to maintain product availability and support selling activity.
- Perform physical inventory counts and audits and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with product displays and maintain merchandise presentation in accordance with visual and brand standards.
Store Operations and Maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store, including showcases, stockrooms, and client areas.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including securing the store and preparing the store for business.
- Operate and maintain store technology and equipment, including POS systems, printers, and inventory management systems.
- Execute price changes and update store signage as directed by management.
- Maintain adequate supplies, packaging materials, and client hospitality items throughout the store.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by following security procedures and promptly reporting concerns.
- Complete administrative tasks, including organizing paperwork and maintaining operational records.
- Collaborate with store leadership and team members to support customer service and operational goals, remaining flexible to assist with additional business needs during peak selling periods.

Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail experience, preferably within a fast-paced environment, preferred.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and inventory management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
- Proficiency in using retail software systems.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak seasons.

Success in this role is measured by the store’s ability to maintain accurate, well-organized inventory and merchandise flow that supports an exceptional customer experience; ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments, replenishment, and stock counts; provide reliable operational, administrative, and customer service support to the sales team and store leadership; uphold LAGOS brand standards for store presentation, safety, and security; and adapt readily to the pace and demands of a fast-moving retail environment while contributing to overall store efficiency and team performance.
