As an R&D Project Manager, you'll play a key role in guiding innovative projects from early research through development and commercialization. You will work alongside talented scientists, engineers, and business leaders to deliver solutions that make a real impact.

What You'll Do

• Lead exciting R&D projects from concept through development, scale-up, and implementation.
• Partner with technical and business teams to define project goals, success measures, and deliverables.
• Build and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams.
• Identify and navigate technical risks, uncertainties, and changing priorities.
• Facilitate project reviews, decision-making sessions, and key project milestones.
• Monitor progress, resolve obstacles, and keep projects moving forward.
• Manage scope changes and evolving requirements while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
• Ensure projects meet safety, quality, regulatory, and governance standards.
• Communicate project updates and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Science, or another technical field.
• Experience managing projects within an R&D, product development, engineering, or technical environment.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic environments where priorities evolve and innovation drives decision-making.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
• Experience with tools such as MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in a technical discipline.
• PMP, CAPM, Agile, or similar project management certification.
• Experience with stage-gate product development processes.
• Background in regulated industries such as chemicals, pharmaceutical, medical devices, or automotive.
• Familiarity with experimentation, data-driven development, or Design of Experiments (DOE).
