    Join Lake Ridge Bank's Wealth Management team and play a meaningful role in helping clients achieve their financial goals. As a Senior Financial Planner & Client Service Coordinator, you'll work alongside Financial Advisors to develop comprehensive financial plans, analyze client information, and create personalized recommendations that make a real impact on clients' financial futures.

    This role is ideal for an experienced financial planning professional who is ready to contribute immediately through paraplanning and plan development while also becoming deeply involved in the client experience. In addition to preparing financial plans using tools such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar platforms, you'll learn and support the day-to-day operations that keep our Wealth Management team running smoothly, including opening new accounts, processing transfers, navigating ClientWorks and Redtail, and providing exceptional client service.

    Advisory & Planning Support

    • Assist Financial Advisors in developing and implementing client financial plans and recommendations.
    • Support proposal preparation, investment research, and report generation.
    • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and follow through on action items.
    • Actively engage with the Financial Advisory and Wealth Management Financial Planning Group.
    • Work toward obtaining SIE, Series 7, 66, and Life & Health licenses within one year to advance into an advisory role.

    Business Development & Operations

    • Support marketing and outreach initiatives, including campaigns, client events, and follow-ups.
    • Assist in onboarding new clients, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant.
    • Collaborate with internal partners to identify opportunities for cross-selling and relationship expansion.
    • Participate in community and networking events to enhance the visibility of the Financial Advisory team.

    Client Service & Relationship Management

    • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely, professional, and courteous service.
    • Prepare materials for client meetings, including financial plans, performance reports, and review packets.
    • Maintain accurate and compliant client files, ensuring data and documentation are up to date.
    • Monitor accounts for changes, unusual activity, and service needs, following up as necessary.

    Compliance & Professional Standards

    • Ensure adherence to all Bank, LPL, and FINRA regulations and internal policies.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information.
    • Complete all required compliance and continuing education training on an annual basis.

    Adhere to all Bank Security/Compliance Regulations

    • Complete all annual bank security and compliance training
    • Adhere to Bank Security/compliance and policy guidelines for commercial loan area.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer information at all times.
    • Stay current on all compliance regulations required through training and education

    Other Responsibilities

    • Participate in bank and department meetings.
    • Represent the bank in professional and community activities.
    • Actively participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
    • Partner effectively across all levels of the organization and develop positive working relationships.
    • Continually develop knowledge, skills, and abilities through internal and external training programs.
    • Participate in bank and department meetings.
    • Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
