Animal Care Center in Baxter, MN is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our four-doctor small animal team in the heart of Minnesota's beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area.
Whether you're an experienced DVM looking for a supportive long-term home or a new graduate searching for the kind of mentorship that builds confidence, you'll find an experienced team, loyal clients, and a culture where people genuinely enjoy working together.
And with weekday-only hours from 8 AM-5 PM, you'll have ample time to enjoy everything the Brainerd Lakes Area has to offer.
A team that sticks around.
Our high technician-to-doctor ratio and long-tenured support team are a huge part of what makes Animal Care Center special. Many of our team members have been here 5, 10, and even 20+ years. That kind of longevity doesn't happen by accident.
A culture built around collaboration.
We're a four-doctor small animal practice where DVMs work together, share knowledge, and support one another. You won't be expected to navigate challenging cases alone.
Mentorship that actually matters.
For new graduates, we provide the support and mentorship needed to build clinical confidence while developing your own approach to medicine. Experienced DVMs will also find opportunities to continue learning and grow their skills.
Clients who trust you.
Our clients are loyal, engaged, and deeply connected to our hospital. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with people who value the care you provide to their pets.
A schedule that respects your life.
We're open Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM. No late nights. No regular weekends. Just a predictable schedule that allows you to build a fulfilling veterinary career without giving up your life outside the hospital. Part and Full-time hours available.
At Animal Care Center, you'll have the support of an experienced veterinary team and the resources needed to provide excellent patient care.
You'll have the opportunity to practice a broad range of small animal medicine while collaborating with fellow DVMs and a skilled support team.
Our focus is simple: take excellent care of our patients, build lasting relationships with our clients, and take care of the people doing the work.
