Job Description
Position : Quality Manager
Purpose and Role Description : The Quality Manager role is accountable for Pacific Helmets New Zealand quality management systems and external system audits (QMS / H&S / EMS, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001). This includes the task of continuing to develop the systems required and implementing end to end, as well as improving the current ones to continuously improve and meet the companies lean, six sigma and quality goals. The purpose of the role is (but not limited to) :
Hours of Work : The employee’s minimum hours of work are 40 hrs/week, primarily worked between 6am and 6pm Monday to Friday, unless agreed between the Employee and the Employer.

Own and lead the company QMS, H&S management system and EMS; manage ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 audits; ensure internal audit programme, CAPA effectiveness, compliance reporting and system performance reviews are in place.
H&S / Environmental Officer (vacant)
Quality Manager
Day-to-day ownership of H&S and environmental coordination, legal compliance registers, incident and hazard follow-up, staff awareness, site inspections, environmental action tracking and practical system deployment.
Quality Systems Lead
Quality Manager
Document control, internal audit scheduling, CAPA / SCAR administration, quality data/KPI reporting, training/competency matrix support, management review support and system discipline.

Supports structured system governance and review cadence.
Inwards goods testing & Batch testing scheme
Sits within the QMS as controlled assurance activities, including defined sampling plans, test methods, acceptance criteria, and records. Owned at a system level, not tied to an individual role.
