The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for enhancing the hotel’s image, promoting its brand stories, managing media relations, and driving communication strategies that highlight the property’s unique offerings. For candidates with extensive experience, the Senior Public Relations Manager role will include strategic leadership and mentoring responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Storytelling: Develop PR campaigns showcasing the hotel’s services, events, and guest experiences, ensure all communications and campaigns consistently reflect the hotel’s corporate identity, luxury positioning, and commitment to delivering a distinctive guest experience.
- Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel journalists, lifestyle editors, and hospitality influencers, while overseeing both the quantity and quality of press coverage in targeted travel, lifestyle and hospitality outlets.
- Crisis Communication: Manage sensitive issues such as guest complaints or operational challenges.
- Content Creation: Draft press releases, guest newsletters and executive speeches.
- Event Promotion: Organize press conferences, media familiarization trips and hotel-hosted events.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Partnership Development: Identify and secure partnership opportunities with luxury brands, airlines, tourism boards, and local businesses to enhance guest experiences and expand market reach.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Hospitality, or related field.
- 5+ years of PR experience in hospitality or luxury service.
- Strong media network within travel, lifestyle, and hospitality sectors.
- Excellent writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage crises and protect brand reputation.
- Experience in developing and negotiating partnerships.
- Leadership and mentoring skills (for Senior role).
