CDL A Driver

CSI Sands (N.E.) provides a full range of aggregate and resource materials production services. We are equipped to handle every phase of the materials engineering process, from initial exploration to delivery of the end-product.

Currently CSI Sands (N.E.) is looking to fill the position of CDL A Driver in Cleveland, OH.  Under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Shift Lead, the CDL A Driver is required to follow all safety and operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but not limited to:

• Safely haul various bulk pneumatic loads.
• Safely haul bulk loads and operate tractor-trailer truck.
• Conduct and record pre and post operational checks on equipment.
• Operate loading and unloading equipment as required.
• Adhere to daily schedules set out by Dispatch.
• Complete daily activity logs accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck.
• Ability to navigate work sites and adapt to daily changes in site scope of work.
• Report any issues or incidents to operations manager.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Commercial driver's license (Class A) is mandatory.
• Minimum three-year truck driving experience under CDL A license preferred.
• Experience with pneumatic hauling is preferred.
• Ability to drive on multiple routes.
• Must be able to perform routine inspection of the vehicle.
• Acceptable drivers abstract.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends an asset.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen.
