Evening Guest Service Associate

Compensation:  starting at $21.00/ hour

Position Summary

Talta Lodge is looking for a Guest Service Associate (Front Desk Agent) to join our team and help create a welcoming, memorable experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

As a Guest Service Associate, you'll be one of the main faces of Talta Lodge. You'll welcome guests, manage reservations, assist with check-ins and check-outs, answer questions, resolve issues, and help make sure every stay runs smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and genuine attitude
• Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
• Answer phones, emails, and guest questions in a professional and timely manner
• Make and manage reservations, including deposits, confirmations, and special requests
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about Stowe restaurants, activities, attractions, and local businesses
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and follow-through
• Maintain accurate guest accounts, payments, and reservation information
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, management, and other departments
• Review daily arrivals, departures, groups, and special requests
• Assist guests with additional needs such as extra towels, pillows, directions, and local recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
• Complete daily front desk reports and shift-to-shift communication
• Follow hotel safety, security, privacy, and emergency procedures
• Jump in and support the team wherever needed

Previous hotel or customer service experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person.
