Lazard is seeking an M&A Analyst to join the Technology team in Minneapolis, focused on Tech-Enabled Services coverage.  The position offers an outstanding career opportunity in investment banking with a highly successful team covering a range of sub-sectors including IT Services, HR & HCM Services, Finance & Accounting Services and Field, Facilities and Maintenance Services. This group works across a range of transactions, primarily M&A with an emphasis on sell-side work and a strong track record working with Lazard’s Private Capital Advisory, Capital Solutions and Restructuring teams. In Lazard’s Technology Group, our Analysts work in a generalist capacity across the sub-sectors above and support our strategic goals tied to successful execution of client engagements and supporting business development and marketing efforts.

We’ll trust you to:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
• Analyze client financial and performance information
• Build financial models and conduct financial analysis
• Assist in our industry coverage efforts and related business development activities
• Interact with both senior bankers and senior executives at clients

You’ll need to have:

• One-two years of investment banking experience or two-three years of experience in public accounting (audit or transaction advisory)
• Proven academic track record with excellent attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
• A high level of responsiveness with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining a high-quality work product
• A team player mindset; ability to work as part of a close-knit team with a strong desire to succeed
• Polished interpersonal skills and ability to communicate within deal teams and externally to clients
• A strong ability to multi-task

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $120,000 - $125,000 USD . Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and relevant skills for the role. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.
