Production Scheduler & Batch Tracking Specialist

Do you enjoy coordinating complex processes, connecting stakeholders and ensuring a smooth manufacturing and release process? As we continue to expand our operations in Ghent, we are looking for a Production Scheduler & Batch Tracking Specialist to join our Supply Chain team. In this role, you will play a key role in delivering CAR-T cell therapies – making a direct impact on patients’ lives.

What can you expect?

As a Production Scheduler & Batch Tracking Specialist, you are responsible for coordinating the timely manufacturing and release of patient-specific batches within our end-to-end supply chain. You ensure smooth collaboration across teams in a sterile GMP environment.
You are responsible for; 

Batch Coordination & Stakeholder Management 

• Coordinating the on-time release of finished product batches in close collaboration with Manufacturing, QA, QC, and Investigations teams
• Acting as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely communication
• Providing transparent updates on batch status, progress, and challenges
• Building strong relationships across internal and external stakeholders

Dashboarding

• Owning, maintaining and enhancing the BI dashboards and tools to support batch release coordination
• Acting as a primary point of contact for BI dashboards troubleshooting by diagnosing and resolving issues across the dashboard landscape, ranging from minor defects and data-quality concerns to complex problems involving data models, refreshes, integrations or performance

Monitoring & Issue Resolution

• Proactively identifying risks and bottlenecks impacting batch release timelines
• Driving discussions to resolve issues and ensure continuity
• Escalating critical risks and supporting decision-making at the appropriate level

Planning

• Building detailed production schedules to ensure timely execution of manufacturing activities while maximizing capacity utilization and minimizing disruptions
• Contributing to the execution of the master production plan by translating demand forecasts into feasible short- and mid-term production schedules
• Collaborating with planning, manufacturing and warehouse teams to align supply with clinical and commercial demand

Continuous Improvement 

• Driving process improvements and contributing to reporting and scalable planning methodologies

Who are we looking for?

Education

• You obtained a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science or a related field or have equivalent experience

Experience

• You have at least three years of relevant experience in supply chain, operations or quality
• Experience in a GMP environment within pharma or biotech is a strong plus
• You have hands-on experience with Power BI, Power Automate and other Microsoft tools to support reporting analytics, automation or business processes
• You have experience with building and using complex Power BI dashboards, combining multiple data sources

Languages

• You are fluent in English
