About the role

Global Brand Development (GBD) is looking for an analytical and organised marketing professional who can turn brand data into clear stories, keep governance rhythms running smoothly, and help bring focus to what matters most. Join us in a hands-on role that supports how the LEGO Group evaluates, invests in, and prioritises brand performance!

This is a Manager level Individual Contributor role. This role will be based in our Copenhagen Løvstræde or Billund Havremarken offices. We offer a flexible hybrid working model known as Best of Both, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Required Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Experience in brand strategy, marketing performance, portfolio prioritisation, or a related discipline.
• Strong skills in brand performance measurement, analytics, and prioritisation.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills, including preparing compelling content for senior leadership audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting governance forums, reporting frameworks, and decision-making processes in complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Insights, and marketing partners to deliver integrated business outcomes.

What you'll build/drive

• Support our Brand Performance Reporting in partnership with GMIP (Global Marketing, Insights, and Planning), ensuring a regularly refreshed and comprehensive view of brand health development, including coordination of GBD's monthly Brand Performance Roundtable.
• Reporting that translates complex data into clear insights and recommendations that support informed discussions with senior leadership and the GBD Leadership Team.
• Lead specific brand performance and prioritisation initiatives across the marketing value chain, helping teams understand performance drivers, identify opportunities, and support prioritisation discussions through data-informed recommendations.
• Partner with Finance to maintain visibility of budget utilization and allocation across projects and activities, supporting investment allocation decisions through accurate reporting, analysis, and scenario evaluation.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, and GMIP partners to align marketing activities with broader business objectives and ensure performance insights are consistently translated into action.

Joining the Global Brand Development team means getting to be a part of steering how we develop our brand in the market and driving continuous improvement within the business team responsible for navigating that journey.  Specifically, this individual will support the key Global Brand Operations responsibilities of:

• Owning and driving the end-to-end delivery of the Brand Lever from PLAN30, including project prioritisations across the MVC, and reporting to PMD LT, ELT, BoD, and Chairmanship communication.
• Managing multiple funding sources & cost centers, incl. decision-making on budget allocation. Ensure transparency, accurate reporting, compliance, and alignment to Financial and Strategic plans.

The team works in a very integrated fashion, as the three components of Global Brand Operations have many interdependencies.  These components are Brand Performance and Prioritization, Brand Wiring into the broader LEGO Group, and internal Global Brand Development functional operations.  We operate with weekly Global Brand Operations team meetings and monthly Global Brand Development functional meetings.

What success looks like

Success means helping GBD settle into a monthly routine for Brand Performance Reporting, and acting as the primary driver of production work on content for the monthly meetings.  This will involve developing a clear understanding of our brand performance and impact priorities, the work we are doing to drive each, and the way we are measuring and evaluating impact.  You will partner on a weekly or even daily basis with our partners in GMIP.
