Application Engineer

● Equipment selection / Costing / Zoho Quotation
● Preparing technical submittal & reply to consultant comments
● Preparation of optimised and value engineered selections in CCSI software
● Follow up on quotations.
● Preparation of order documents and sharing with sales coordinators along with the final approved documents
● Preparation of project file and handing over the file to Sales Coordinator.
● Get the specification from the contractors, based on the customer specification and the equipment schedule select proper DX & CHW units and prepare a zoho quote based on price list & cost sheet.
● Prepare submittal based on the contract specification and submit to the contractor/ consultant for approval.
● Meeting consultants, contractors for the technical meetings
● Handling other territories as per management requirements.
● Heat load Calculations & Design in case of schedule not provided by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Heat load Calculations & Design in case of schedule not provided by the customer. 
• Equipment selection / Cost Estimation / Quotation 
• Follow up on Quotation.  
• Preparing Technical Submittal. 
• Preparation of Order Estimation sheet and getting it approved by Sales Manager/Sr.Manager. 
• Preparation of Project file and handing over the file to Sales Coordinator. 
• Get the specification from the contractors, based on the customer specification and the equipment schedule select fan models and quote based on price list & Cost Sheet. 
• Prepare submittal based on the contract specification and submit to the contractor/ consultant for approval. 
• Sending the order acknowledgement to customers.

Qualifications

• Graduation or Post Graduation in Mechanical Engineering
• Relevant exp. as an Application Engineer or similar roles
• Understanding of HVAC Systems, Heat Load Calculations, HVAC Design using AutoCAD or similar software
• Experience in Sales support - creating quotations and understanding of commercials
• Understanding of creating Technical submittals based on project specifications
• Good communications skills - written & verbal
