Visionwood International LLC is seeking a Production Coordinator to join our Planning department. The role involves coordinating production activities, coordinating timely with procurement & store for raw material arrangement and supporting the Planning Team in maintaining efficient operations.
- As a Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in our Planning department, ensuring the smooth execution of production processes.
- Your responsibilities will include monitoring daily production progress, preparing reports, and identifying potential delays or bottlenecks.
- You will collaborate closely with the Planning Team, Procurement, and external suppliers to ensure a seamless flow of materials and an efficient production schedule.
- This role is ideal for an organized and proactive individual who can effectively communicate and coordinate with various teams to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily production progress and submit accurate reports to the Planning Manager/Engineer.
- Assist in preparing look-ahead schedules, identifying production gaps, and suggesting improvements.
- Prepare weekly production status reports, highlighting progress and critical priorities.
- Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely material delivery as per production plans.
- Liaise with suppliers to track material readiness and avoid production disruptions.
- Proactively escalate risks related to material shortages or delays to relevant stakeholders.
- Verify and close daily Delivery Notes (DNs) for dispatched materials.
- Maintain an up-to-date production tracker with dispatch and delivery details.
- Support the Planning and QS Teams in updating records and preparing delivery summaries.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and management reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in production coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of production planning and scheduling techniques.
- Experience in coordinating with external suppliers is preferred.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an asset.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
