We are seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join our team at Leminar Air Conditioning Co. LLC, specifically in the Flow Therm - Dubai department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in technical coordination and project management, ensuring efficient pump solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Shall be responsible for technical coordination between the sales team and clients
- Take full ownership of pump projects from submittal stage until final approval from clients/consultants.
- Should have good knowledge of pump selection and prepare detailed cost estimations for complete pump sets.
- Must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying mechanical drawings, electrical control panel schematics, and General Arrangement (GA) drawings for pumps and associated equipment.
- Must have excellent command over pump calculations, such as flow rate determination, head calculations, suction/discharge pressure analysis, efficiency estimation, and motor power selection.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and communicate with the sales team and clients to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
- Manage pump projects from submittal to final approval, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
- Select appropriate pumps based on project needs and prepare detailed cost estimations for complete pump sets.
- Create and modify mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and GA drawings using AutoCAD, adhering to industry standards.
- Perform pump calculations, including flow rate determination, head calculations, and suction/discharge pressure analysis.
- Estimate pump efficiency and select suitable motor power for optimal performance.
- Review and approve pump-related documentation, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
- Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and sales personnel.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in pump technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the HVAC or pump industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for mechanical and electrical design.
- Excellent knowledge of pump selection, performance, and calculations.
- Ability to create detailed cost estimations and proposals for pump projects.
- Good understanding of industry standards and regulations related to pumps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software.
