Position Overview

The Pharmacy Administrative Coordinator provides flexible administrative, operational, and coordination support across a variety of pharmacy initiatives and business needs. This role will work closely with pharmacy leadership and other team members to support licensing and regulatory activities, reporting, operational initiatives, and other pharmacy projects as priorities evolve. As a licensed pharmacy technician familiar with pharmacy operations and workflow, this individual will be able to support activities involving pharmacy systems, records, and patient information when appropriate, allowing work that does not require clinical judgment to be completed efficiently. Responsibilities will vary based on current pharmacy priorities and may include administrative work, data and reporting support, documentation, coordination, and communication to ensure execution of defined project activities.  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pharmacy, healthcare, medical administration, or a related environment.
• Must possess or meet the requirements to attain a Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri. If not currently licensed but eligible, Lemonaid will assist with the licensing process.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong attention to detail, adaptability, and a passion for creative problem solving.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to effectively utilize Google Workplace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently within defined responsibilities and effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain the confidentiality of patient, regulatory, and business records and information.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively live and implement Lemonaid Health Guiding Principles on a daily basis.
• Deliver exceptional patient and team experiences with a friendly, proactive attitude.
• Provide administrative and coordination support for pharmacy initiatives, operational priorities, and special projects as assigned based on evolving business needs.
• Assist with pharmacy and business licensing activities, including preparation and organization of applications, renewals, supporting documentation, and related records.
• Assists in administrative problem-solving, program/project planning, development, and execution of stated goals.
• Support contract monitoring, documentation, analytics, and related activities as needed.
• Provide and/or oversee support activities for the department, such as assisting with company wide communication related to pharmacy operations, goals and culture.
• Compile and report weekly pharmacy statistics through various reporting mechanisms.
• Maintain familiarity with pharmacy operations, systems, and workflows to effectively support pharmacy-related activities and initiatives.
• Access pharmacy systems and patient information as necessary to perform assigned responsibilities in accordance with role-based access requirements and applicable policies.
• Maintain organized and accurate pharmacy records and documentation.
• Adhere to HIPAA requirements and all applicable pharmacy, regulatory, and company policies.

Structure and Schedule Requirements

The pharmacy’s hours of operation are 8:00 am – 8:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am – 6:30 pm on Saturdays (currently closed on Sundays). This position will have (5) 8-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours. Shifts will vary within open hours, and all shifts can change based on the needs of the business.
