Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3000 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Import Sea Freight
This is a position based in Veracruz, Mexico that will primarily support the U.S. team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to participate in the continued growth and expansion of a well-respected organization.
The ideal candidate is a strong in freight forwarding and customs processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction
What You’ll Do:
Follow-up of routing orders with agents and customers
Receiving and analyzing shipping documents
Elaborating and sending arrival notices to customers/customs brokers
Tracking shipments with involved parties
Managing data input in operational system ABS
Filling out AMS system
File closing
Claim management
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
4+ years of experience in freight forwarding, import or international logistics.
Strong knowledge of import operations
Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong customer-facing experience, with a proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
