    Position Summary

    The Workplace Support Representative helps support a positive, welcoming, and well-communicated workplace environment for employees and drivers. This part-time position serves as a liaison between employees, drivers, and site management by sharing approved site updates, helping employees connect with the appropriate company resources, receiving workplace concerns in a professional manner, and supporting closed-loop communication by helping ensure concerns and updates are routed, followed up on, and communicated back as appropriate across shifts.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Serve as a liaison between employees and drivers and the site management team
    • Share site updates and information across shifts
    • Greet drivers, production employees, and other team members as they arrive for work.
    • Provide a friendly and welcoming presence during shift arrival times.
    • Hand out company flyers, announcements, reminders, and other approved materials.
    • Help communicate information about company programs, activities, and initiatives.
    • Help keep employee bulletin boards and communication areas neat and up to date.
    • Provide employees with contact information for the appropriate company resource when requested.
    • Follow all site safety rules, procedures, and required safety protocols.
    • Assist with other basic workplace support activities as needed.
    • Receive employee and driver concerns in a professional and respectful manner and route them to the appropriate manager or company resource for follow-up.
    • Maintain awareness of employee and driver concerns and support timely follow-through to help ensure clear, full-circle communication.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Friendly and approachable.
    • Dependable and punctual.
    • Comfortable speaking and interacting with employees.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to help.
    • Able to follow basic instructions and communicate information clearly.
    • Able and willing to follow established safety procedures.
    • Comfortable working around a production or transportation environment.

    WORK ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

    This role requires extended periods of driving, work outdoors in varying weather conditions, and physical tasks associated with inspections, trailer handling, and waste tire removal operations.
